YourTV’s Sixth Annual #OHLDay Recap
For the sixth straight season a full day of Ontario Hockey League action and exclusive broadcast coverage aired across the province on YourTV networks as part of Hockey Day in the OHL.
#OHLDay featured a tripleheader of games including a 4-3 road win for the Niagara IceDogs over the Windsor Spitfires (Highlights) in the 1:00 pm game, a 4-0 shutout victory for the host North Bay Battalion against the Kingston Frontenacs (Highlights) in the 4:00 pm time slot, and wrapped up with an 8-4 win for the Sarnia Sting against the visiting Hamilton Bulldogs (Highlights) at 7:00 pm.
YourTV networks in all OHL communities also helped deliver great feature content to fans across the province during intermissions and between games, while host Terry Doyle chatted with studio guests all part of a full day of continuous OHL coverage.

Windsor: The Windsor Spitfires spent a full day out in the community connecting with over 1,000 minor hockey players at practices across Windsor and Essex County. Feature via @yourtvwindsor.
Niagara: Just like players on the Niagara IceDogs aspire to reach the next level, so do members of the OHL’s Officiating Team like Welland native Brent Coulombe. Feature via @yourtvniagara.

Kingston: Longtime Kingston media room hostess Freda Coyle is a dedicated volunteer that truly makes the Frontenacs gameday experience special. Feature via @yourtvkingston.
Sarnia: The Sarnia Sting are proud to support the Lambton Kent District School Board’s Breakfast Program helping set students up for success. Feature via @yourtvsarnia.
Hamilton: The partnership between the Hamilton Bulldogs, Cable 14, and Mohawk College provides students valuable experience in the broadcast industry. Feature via @cable14.
Peterborough: Ian Norrie is not only a fixture at the Peterborough Memorial Centre, he’s been a devoted member of the historic Petes family for decades. Feature via @yourtvptbo.
OHL Alumni: 2011 Goaltender of the Year Mark Visentin, who played for the Niagara IceDogs from 2008-12, recently retired from hockey. He chats with studio host Terry Doyle about life after hockey and highlights of his OHL experience.
OHL Programs: Director of Marketing and Business Development, Kyle Ferguson, joined Terry Doyle in studio to chat about league programs like #TalkToday, community initiatives like Teddy Bear Toss campaigns, and partnerships like Special Olympics.
