– Tyler Savard (2), Connor Toms and Owen Allard each recorded their first career OHL goal in the win.
– Tye Kartye had a goal and an assist to give him 19 points (11-8–19), tying him for the OHL scoring lead.
– Overage defender Robert Calisti earned first star honours with two goals and an assist.
– Saginaw blueliner Pacey Schlueting scored his first career OHL goal in his 123rd career contest.
– Samuel Ivanov made 24 saves for the win opposite Saginaw’s Andrew Oke, who made his second straight start in the absence of sidelined Tristan Lennox.

– Matthew Maggio scored his first-career OHL hat trick in a four-point night.
– Kyle McDonald enjoyed his first multi-goal effort of the season, scoring twice.
– Prior to Wednesday the Spitfires were the last Canadian OHL team to play in the US, a 4-3 Firebirds OT win on March 7, 2020.
– Detroit Red Wings prospect Pasquale Zito left the contest in the second period and didn’t return.
-Firebirds rookie Luca D’Amato scored his first career OHL goal and added an assist on Brennan Othmann’s first period marker.
-Windsor’s Xavier Medina stopped 36 of 38 shots in the win.

MISSISSAUGA 3, KINGSTON 2 – OT
– Rookie Luke Misa set up captain Ethan Del Mastro for his first OHL overtime goal with one second remaining to get two points for the Trout.
– Aidan Prueter tied the game in the third period and provided a helper on Del Mastro’s OT winner.
-Frontenacs captain Shane Wright was presented pre-game with a championship ring as one of 23 CHL players to represent Canada at the 2021 IIHF U18 World Championship who won gold last May.
– The night didn’t stop there for the top 2022 NHL Draft prospect who recorded a goal and an assist.
– Fronts netminder Leevi Merilainen stopped 44 of 47 to earn first star honours as Kingston was outshot 47-20 in the loss.
– Mississauga came away victorious in a matchup against Kingston for the sixth time in their last seven meetings, the Frontenacs’ last victory against Mississauga was December 29th, 2019.
