1ST STAR: JASON WILLMS (BARRIE COLTS) – 2G, 2A
Barrie Colts captain Jason Willms had a career-high four point night, scoring twice while adding two assists in a 6-4 win over visiting Kingston. The overage centreman had six shots on goal and went 15-for-25 in the faceoff circle, recording his third multi-point effort of the season to give him 11 points (4-7–11) over seven games. The 20-year-old from Kitchener, Ont. is in his fourth season with the Colts, having played in 211 consecutive regular season contests with the club. He was Barrie’s third round pick in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection.

2ND STAR: CURTIS DOUGLAS (WINDSOR SPITFIRES) – 1G, 2A
Big 6-foot-9, 236Ib. Dallas Stars prospect Curtis Douglas was a force on Saturday, scoring while tacking on a pair of nice assists as the Windsor Spitfires defeated visiting Sarnia 8-5. Douglas had a pair of shots on goal, a plus-5 rating and went 10-for-19 in the faceoff circle as the Spits improved to 5-3-1-0. Douglas has six points (3-3–6) through nine games this season after he recorded 53 (27-26–53) over 66 games in 2018-19. The Oakville, Ont. native was a fourth round pick of Dallas in. 2018.

3RD STAR: MITCHELL RUSSELL (NORTH BAY BATTALION) – 2G, 1A
Mitchell Russell led the charge for the North Bay Battalion on Saturday, putting up two goals and an assist in a commanding 8-2 road win over the Niagara IceDogs. Russell scored a power play goal 7:29 into the first period, set up Mason Primeau in the second and tacked on his second of the night 3:53 into the third period. The three points are a career-high for Russell, who has eight points (4-4–8) in as many contests so far in his third OHL campaign. The 18-year-old from Barrie, Ont. was acquired by the Troops from the Owen Sound Attack midway through last season after being a first round pick in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection.
