Emil Hemming (C) – Barrie Colts (2024-25)
Selected: 1st Round, 29th Overall (2024)
OHL Career Stats: 60 GP, 18 G, 30 A, 48 PTS, +5
Age: 19
Emil Hemming took the ice as an OHL rookie in 2024-2025 and put up a valiant first effort on North American ice. He recorded 48 points (18-30–48) in 60 regular-season games and added eight goals and 15 points in the postseason. Internationally, he represented Finland at the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship, where he won the silver medal.
Charlie Paquette (RW) – Guelph Storm (2021-25)
Selected: 7th Round, 222nd Overall (2025)
OHL Career Stats: 258 GP, 71 G, 58 A, 129 PTS, -43
Age: 20
With the final OHL selection in the 2025 NHL Draft, the Dallas Stars drafted Charlie Paquette of the Guelph Storm. The 20-year-old forward led the team in both goals (37) and points (70) this season.
Tristan Bertucci (D) – Flint Firebirds (2021-24), Barrie Colts (2024-25)
Selected: 2nd Round, 61st Overall (2023)
OHL Career Stats: 238 GP, 29 G, 115 A, 144 PTS, +74
Age: 20
Joining the Barrie Colts at the start of the season, Tristan Bertucci posted 37 points (7-30–37) in 52 regular-season contests as an assistant captain. He is expected to suit up for the Texas Stars of the AHL in the fall.
Angus MacDonell (C) – Sarnia Sting (2021-23), Mississauga/Brampton Steelheads (2022-25)
Selected: 6th Round, 189th Overall (2023)
OHL Career Stats: 227 GP, 98 G, 80 A, 178 PTS, +28
Age: 20
Angus MacDonell has totalled 54 points (27-27–54) for the Brampton Steelheads this season, ranking in the top five on his team in goals (fourth) and points (fifth) despite only playing in 39 regular-season games. His eleven power-play goals were a career-high and topped all Steelheads skaters. He recently signed an entry-level contract with the Stars organization and will start the upcoming season in Texas.
Christian Kyrou (C) – Erie Otters (2019-23), Sarnia Sting (2022-23)
Selected: 2nd Round, 50th Overall (2022)
OHL Career Stats: 153 GP, 38 G, 99 A, 137 PTS, +6
Age: 21
Christian Kyrou saw 36 games in his AHL sophomore season with Texas, scoring four goals and adding 11 assists. Notably, he also took only a single minor penalty during that time frame. Kyrou earned an NHL call-up during February, but didn’t end up dressing in a game.
Gavin White (D) – Hamilton Bulldogs (2019-23), Peterborough Petes (2022-23)
Selected: 4th Round, 115th Overall (2022)
OHL Career Stats: 145 GP, 23 G, 77 A, 100 PTS, +34
Age: 21
Going back-and-forth between Texas and the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL in the early stages of the season, Gavin White spent the majority of the year in the AHL, where he posted 11 points (2-9–11) in 46 contests.
Francesco Arcuri (RW) – Kingston Frontenacs (2019-23), Kitchener Rangers (2022-23)
Selected: 6th Round, 175th Overall (2021)
OHL Career Stats: 197 GP, 89 G, 96 A, 185 PTS, -9
Age: 22
Playing the majority of his season with the Idaho Steelheads, Francesco Arcuri recorded 30 points (10-20–30) in as many games. In April, he had a career-high five-point game, tallying two goals and three assists.
Justin Ertel (LW) – North Bay Battalion (2022-24)
Selected: 3rd Round, 79th Overall (2021)
OHL Career Stats: 110 GP, 39 G, 66 A, 105 PTS, +38
Age: 22
Splitting his season between the AHL and ECHL, Justin Ertel posted 9 points (2-7–9) and 18 penalty minutes in 25 regular-season games with Texas in his rookie professional season.
Connor Punnett (D) – Saginaw Spirit (2019-20), Barrie Colts (2019-24), Oshawa Generals (2023-24)

OHL Career Stats: 247 GP, 32 G, 88 A, 120 PTS, -1
Age: 22
Signing a three-year entry-level contract with the Dallas Stars as a free agent in 2024, Connor Punnett played with the Idaho Steelheads during the 2024-25 season, where he tallied 19 points (5-14–19) and 122 penalty minutes in 58 regular-season contests.
Kyle McDonald (RW) – Windsor Spitfires (2018-22), North Bay Battalion (2021-23)

OHL Career Stats: 187 GP, 86 G, 55 A, 141 PTS, +27
Age: 23
Kyle McDonald signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Dallas Stars as a free agent in 2023. He played his sophomore season with Texas this past year and recorded 9 points (6-3–9) in 43 regular-season games. McDonald earned an NHL call-up during February, but didn’t end up dressing in a game.
Antonio Stranges (LW) – London Knights (2018-22)
Selected: 4th Round, 123rd Overall (2020)
OHL Career Stats: 187 GP, 63 G, 95 A, 158 PTS, +16
Age: 23
Antonio Stranges had 43 points (18-25–43) for Texas, ranking seventh on the team in scoring despite only playing in 55 regular-season games. He set AHL career highs in all offensive stats and added 3 points (2-1–3) in nine games during the Calder Cup Playoffs, helping the team reach the Western Conference Final. Stranges recently signed a one-year, two-way contract extension.
