Musty rejoins Wolves ahead of three-game road trip
The Sudbury Wolves will have arguably the most dangerous offensive player in the OHL back in their lineup for stops in Kitchener, Brantford and Niagara this weekend.
San Jose Sharks first round NHL Draft pick Quentin Musty, who led the OHL with 1.92 points-per-game in 2023-24, will rejoin the club and make his season debut on Friday night in Kitchener. Musty had previously remained at home awaiting a trade, but will return to the club that selected him first overall in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection as they enter a three-in-three and a stretch of 12 games that sees nine of them come on the road.
Musty, who signed a three-year entry-level NHL contract with San Jose on Oct. 4, 2023, will put his best foot forward in hopes of getting a look from USA Hockey as they assemble their team that will compete at the 2025 IIHF World Juniors that take place in Ottawa starting in December.
A 19-year-old from Hamburg, New York, Musty owns career totals that include 211 points (81-130–211) over 156 regular season games in Sudbury over the past three seasons.
