– Guelph and Owen Sound combined for six first period goals, with the Attack coming out on top 4-2 as they’d hang on the rest of the way for the win.
– 2022 NHL Draft prospect Servac Petrovsky scored twice and added an assist while Cedrick Guindon, Mark Woolley and William Portokalis also found the back of the net for the Bears.
– 2022 NHL Draft prospect Jake Karabela scored twice for the Storm, being joined by Cooper Walker on the scoresheet.
– Guelph outshot Owen Sound 44-40.
– Nick Chenard stopped 41 of 44 for the win opposite Guelph’s Jacob Oster, who turned aside 33 of 34 shots in a relief appearance.
– The Attack win their sixth in a row, pulling to within three points of the fifth place Storm in the Western Conference. Owen Sound is now 25-23-2-2.
– Guelph drops a fourth straight decision, owning a 25-18-5-2 record.
