“The Attack are proud to announce the signing of Crawford,” said DeGray. “We would like to welcome Jake and his family to the organization and look forward to seeing his growth in Owen Sound.”

“It still feels surreal,” Crawford stated. “First getting drafted by Owen Sound and now signing. It is an incredible feeling, I couldn’t be more proud to call myself an Owen Sound Attack. I can’t thank Dale and the rest of the Attack enough for giving me an opportunity.”
The 6-foot-1 forward also added a strong playoff performance with 14 points (7-7-14) in eight contests, as he helped the Express reach the OMHA Championship playdowns.
“I’ll bring a strong work ethic next season,” Crawford added. “You won’t see me take shifts off, as I aim to bring physicality and speed every time I’m on the ice.”
Haling from Barrie, Ont., the big winger will be joining a high profile Attack roster aiming to be a top team in the league for 2023-24.
“Jake will fit in nicely as a solid two-way aggressive player who will be able to contribute in all areas of the rink,” DeGray said of his newest signing. “We all look forward to seeing Jake at camp in late August.”
