IceDogs’ Loshko signs with Kraken
The Seattle Kraken have inked center Andrei Loshko to a three-year entry-level deal, as announced Monday. The Belarusian-born forward was originally selected by Seattle in the fourth round of the 2023 NHL Draft.
Loshko recently wrapped up the season with the Niagara IceDogs, where he tallied 34 goals and 36 assists over 67 games, good for third in team scoring with 70 points. He followed that up with six more points (2G, 4A) in five playoff games.
Before landing in Niagara, Loshko spent three seasons in the QMJHL, skating with Chicoutimi and Rouyn-Noranda. He led Chicoutimi in scoring during the 2022-23 campaign with 70 points (22G, 48A) and notched 67 points (28G, 39A) the following year with the Huskies. Across four CHL seasons, he racked up 233 points in 246 games, along with 18 playoff points in 23 appearances.
Originally taken 46th overall by Chicoutimi in the 2021 CHL Import Draft, Loshko joined Niagara ahead of the 2024-25 season via waivers. Internationally, he’s represented Belarus at the 2021 IIHF U18 World Championship, picking up a goal and an assist over five games.
Following Niagara’s elimination from the postseason, the 20-year-old forward could report to AHL Coachella Valley on an amateur tryout for the remainder of the season.
