Frontenacs sign forward Adam Kelly
Kingston, Ontario – The Kingston Frontenacs Hockey Club is pleased to announce an OHL Scholarship and Development agreement with forward Adam Kelly.
Adam was drafted by the Frontenacs in the sixth round, 103rd overall at the 2024 OHL Priority Selection.
“Adam is a 200-foot, right-handed skilled center that plays with pace and high compete. ” said General Manager, Kory Cooper. “Adam’s work ethic was on display at our development camp, and we believe that with continued development he has the tools and the drive to find success at the OHL level.”
A center from Sioux Lookout, ON, the 5’10’, 170 lbs. 15-year-old spent the 2023-24 season with the Toronto Jr. Canadiens. In 35 games with the U16 AAA program, he scored 15 goals and 12 assists for 27 points. Adam also suited up for three games with the Toronto Jr. Canadiens of the OJHL, before ending his season by representing Ontario in the 2024 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships. He scored three goals and four assists in helping Ontario win a gold medal in Grand Prairie, AB.
Adam will be in Kingston for 2024 training camp in late August.
