Adam Zidlicky commits to Rangers
Kitchener, ON – The Kitchener Rangers have announced that 16-year-old forward Adam Zidlicky has signed an Ontario Hockey League standard player agreement.
Zidlicky was the team’s sixth-round pick (102nd overall) in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection. He played for the North Jersey Avalanche 15’s during the 2020-21 season where he put up 15 goals and nine assists in 16 games played. He also was a part of the Czech U17 National Team where he tallied four assists.
The A product of Verona, New Jersey by way of Prague, Czech Republic, Zidlicky is the son of long-time NHL defenceman Marek Zidlicky who played over 800 NHL games from 2003-16 between Nashville, Minnesota, New Jersey, Detroit and the New York Islanders.
