Wolves Visit HSN
Four members of the Sudbury Wolves and Howler visited a number of different departments throughout Health Sciences North (HSN) Wednesday afternoon ,as part of the KIDS FEEL BETTER CAMPAIGN. One stop the players truly enjoyed was visiting the Children’s Treatment Centre (CTC) where the kids broke out the floor hockey sticks and were able to play hockey with the players. Players handed out little stuffed Howlers and sign autographs for the kids. The Wolves very much enjoyed visiting everyone at Health Sciences North and seeing the smiles on the kids faces was a bonus.
Captain KEVIN RAINE, Assistant Captain MATHEW CAMPAGNA, veteran forward CONNOR CRISP and veteran Goaltender FRANKY PALAZZESE were extremely fortunate to have been a part of today’s visit. The players left with a warm feeling and were grateful to have visited before the Christmas holidays began. The Wolves look forward to returning in the near future.
The KIDS FEEL BETTER CAMPAIGN allows the Sudbury Wolves, PERKINS RESTAURANT & BAKERY, and HEALTH SCIENCES NORTH to partner together to provide ticket vouchers and Perkins Meal vouchers to children being cared for by Health Science North.
