Wolves Move McFadden
The Sudbury Wolves announced a trade today that sends 17-year-old defenceman ZACH MCFADDEN to the Guelph Storm in exchange for an 8th round draft choice. The Wolves selected McFadden in the 12th round of the 2011 OHL Priority Draft. The Guelph native played in 11 games for the Wolves last season and recorded one assist. The smooth-skating rearguard was released from the Wolves’ try-out camp last week. McFadden will dress for the Guelph Storm this weekend in league exhibition play. McFadden is the younger brother of Josh McFadden who graduated from the Sudbury Wolves in 2012 and signed an NHL contract with the Florida Panthers.
