Wolves Head on Road for Thanksgiving Weekend
The Sudbury Wolves will hit the road this Thanksgiving Weekend as they make stops in both St. Catharines and Mississauga. The Wolves will kick off this week’s road trip against the Niagara IceDogs on Thursday, October 5th, at the Meridian Centre, before travelling to Mississauga on Friday to battle the Steelheads. Both games are set to begin at 7:00pm.
Fans can follow the Wolves on the road in a number of different ways this season. Fans can listen to the live play by play on the radio at 96.7 CKLU or mxlr.com/sudburywolves on the Sudbury Wolves App. In addition to listening to the game, fans can tune into Eastlink TV Channel 10 or HD 610 to watch the broadcast from the local markets. The Wolves are hungry for their first win and timing couldn’t be better to hit the road and play some gritty road hockey.
The Wolves will be off for the rest of the Thanksgiving Long weekend giving the team and players a chance to rest up and visit with family and friends in their home towns. It was a very busy September learning new systems, getting to know new teammates and establishing new routines so the break will allow the team to refresh and focus on the balance of the first half the season until Christmas Break.
The Wolves will return to action at home on Friday October 13th when they host the Ottawa 67’s for the only time this season at 7:05pm. Friday’s game is sponsored by KICX 91.7. Tickets are on-sale now at the Sudbury Arena Box Office, by calling 705-671-3000 or online at greatersudbury.ca/tickets!
