Summer Camp Underway

The Sudbury Wolves Summer Hockey Camp is in full swing this week at the Copper Cliff arena.

Youngsters aged 8 – 14 years are taking part in the on-ice activities and benefitting from the instruction of Wolves’ Head Coach TRENT CULL, Wolves’ Assistant Coach JEFF BEUKEBOOM, Jr. Wolves’ Head Coach BRYAN VERREAULT and Wolves’ players and prospects including: ALAIN VALIQUETTE, ALEX LAINO, PETER POULIN ROY, MICHAEL ROULEAU. Additional Wolves’ players will be making an appearance as the camp progresses throughout the week.

Also in attendance at this week’s camp is Wolves’ alumnus MIKE YEO who is watching his son and daughter participate in the Wolves’ Camp. Yeo and Cull were former teammates in the AHL with the HOUSTON AEROS in their playing days. Yeo, of course, was recently named Head Coach of the MINNESOTA WILD of the NHL.

All participants receiving excellent instruction, a 40th anniversary jersey and four tickets to the Wolves’ home opener game in September. It’s also a great place to cool-off during the hot summer weather we are experiencing here in the Nickel City!
