Chase Coughlan

Drafted 59th overall in the third round by the Guelph Storm in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection, Coughlan is entering his fifth OHL season and third with the Sudbury Wolves. Acquired by Sudbury at the 2023-24 trade deadline, he made an immediate impact with his physical, hard-nosed style of play. In his first full season with the Wolves (2023-24), Coughlan recorded 10 goals and 12 assists for 22 points in 61 games. Building on that strong start, the 2024-25 season saw him set career highs with 24 goals and 19 assists for 43 points in 65 games. In addition to his hockey career, Coughlan has also stepped into the acting world, appearing in the hit show Shoresy, filmed in Sudbury. He plays Mason, an aspiring OHL defenceman being mentored by the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs. Coughlan has become a fan favourite thanks to his tenacity, work ethic, and willingness to bring energy to every shift.
