Game 12 Highlights – Ice Dogs @ Wolves
The Sudbury Wolves started a 3 game in 3 night swing with a 2-1 win over the Niagara Ice Dogs at home Friday. Prior to the start of the game the Wolves hosted a Remembrance Day ceremony to honour our armed forces and those whose lives were lost in the line of duty.
Chase Stillman buried his sixth goal of the season to open the scoring in the second period. Landon McCallum added his second of the year 5 minutes later for the eventual game winner. Matthew Mania started the play on McCallum’s goal with an excellent stretch pass, picking up his first career OHL point in his Wolves debut. Kosta Manikis and Alex Assadourian also had assists in the win.
Mitchell Weeks was rock solid between the pipes for the Pack. He turned aside 26 of 27 Ice Dog shots to get the victory.
Sudbury is back in action Saturday, November 6th in Hamilton for their second meeting with the Bulldogs.
