Wolves Prospects Show Well

The Sudbury Wolves are pleased to advise that the OMHA AAA ETA Showcase Midget All-Star Game was held on the weekend in Aurora, ON.  All 3 Wolves prospects, including Nolan Hutcheson, Jacob Roach and David Bowen had very strong showings in the game.  Team East defeated Team West 4-3 in an exciting and fast paced two way hockey game.

Wolves GM Barclay Branch reported, “Hutcheson picked up an assist on the first goal for Team East and was a strong presence for the East All-Star team the entire game.  We are pleased with Nolan’s development thus far this season.”

“Another strong showing for Team East included (Jacob) Roach who played very well and was responsible for creating several scoring chances for Team East throughout the game because of his relentless work ethic,” Branch carried on.  “We are tracking the development of our young players and ensuring that the values that the team is working to instill on and off the ice is filtering throughout our system.”

Branch went on, “another strong showing included David (Bowen), as he played the first half of the game for Team West.  Allowing only 1 goal and making several key saves when Team East applied tremendous pressure in the beginning of the game.”
