Wolves Begin 3-Game Homestand
(GREATER SUDBURY, ON) The Sudbury Wolves return home after completing 3 games in 3 days and get set to play 3 games in 5 days. Wednesday night, the North Bay Battalion return to Sudbury to take on the Wolves at 7:05pm in a central division match up. Friday night the Flint Firebirds make their first and only visit of the season to Sudbury, with game time set for 7:05pm. Capping off the weekend, the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds are intown for an afternoon game at 2:05pm. All games will be played at the Sudbury Community Arena.
The Wolves finish the 3 games in 3 days with 4 of 6 possible points. Friday night the Wolves hosted the Generals where David Goyette led the pack with 4 points and Quentin Musty added 3 points. Saturday the Wolves visited the Bulldogs in the first of two trips to Hamilton this season and picked up 2 points with a 6-3 win. Sunday, the Pack fell short on the road in a battle against the Steelheads.
Wednesday night is student night at the Sudbury Community Arena when the North Bay Battalion come into town. Post-secondary students can purchase game tickets for $10 at the Sudbury Arena Box Office by showing their valid student card at the box office. Wednesday’s game is sponsored by Bruce Power. One lucky fan will also have the chance to win an iPad during the second intermission.
Friday night, the Flint Firebirds come to town for Italian Night. Join us at the Sudbury Community Arena to celebrate Italian heritage in our community with our game night sponsor, the Caruso Club. The Caruso Club will be on hand with great prizes and coupon and two lucky fans will win a family dinner special. The Caruso Club will also be selling individual bags of their delicious crostoli in the lower lobby.
Sunday, the Greyhounds will be in Sudbury to take on the Wolves at 7:05pm. Sunday will also be Nurse and PSW appreciation night, and they thank them for their continued hard work and dedication supporting and serving the residence of our community. Come out on Sunday to support our nurses and PSW’s, game sponsor is AIM Recycling. Bring your skates because it’s Jr. Wolves Sunday and following the game, the Wolves invite fans to hit the ice with select members of the team for a post-game skate. Kids 10 and under receive admission all season long for only $10.
