Serensits Commits to Wolves
The Sudbury Wolves are pleased to announce that defenceman Emmett Serensits has made a commitment to the hockey club.
“We are thrilled that Emmett has chosen the Sudbury Wolves hockey club,” said Rob Papineau, Sudbury Wolves VP of Hockey Operations and General Manager. “He was our first pick in the U18 draft and clearly demonstrates that there are many paths to the Ontario Hockey League for all players coming out of Major Midget. He had an excellent training camp and was a guy our staff felt very high on through this entire camp,” he added.
The 6’1, 183lbs offensive defenceman notched 36 points with the Oakville Rangers Midget team last season.
Emmett is expected to suit up for his first taste of OHL action on Tuesday when the Wolves open-up the pre-season at home against the Mississauga Steelheads. Game time is 7:05pm. Tickets are available at the Sudbury Arena Box Office or online at greatersudbury.ca/tickets
