5 WOLVES CRACK NHL CENTRAL SCOUTING MIDTERM DRAFT RANKINGS!
The National Hockey League’s Central Scouting Services (CSS) released its midterm Scouting Report on Tuesday, which saw 5 Wolves, rated among the top North American skaters!
JEFF CORBETT leads the way in the CSS rankings as he is ranked 66th among North American skaters. NICK BAPTISTE (103rd), and BRODY SILK (105th) join CORBETT in potential top half draft selections for the Wolves. DOMINIK KUBALIK (146th) has also cracked the CSS draft list in his first year of NHL eligibility along with veteran net minder FRANKY PALAZZESE (14th Goaltenders).
CORBETT, 18, is a late birthdate and has quietly climbed-up the charts.The big 6’2” left-shot defenceman has a long reach and is an excellent skater and makes smart plays with the puck. Jeff is quickly becoming one of the Wolves’ most reliable rearguards. His skating ability and mobility is above average and he is a quiet leader on and off the ice.
SILK, 18, is a late birthdate and provides the skill and grit combination that NHL teams are always looking for. BAPTISTE, 17, is one of the premiere power forwards in the draft and is regarded as one of the best skaters in the draft. KUBALIK, 17, provides a combination of size, speed and skill that Czech forwards are noted for. PALAZZESE,19, has been passed up in two NHL draft’s and has earned his way onto the list this season as he currently leads all OHL goalies with a Goals Against Average of 2.04 and Save Percentage of 0.936%.
