Weekend Double-Header
The Sudbury Wolves will kick off their five game home stand on Friday night when they face-off against the first place Barrie Colts at 7:35. The game will mark the Colts third visit to the Sudbury Arena this season and they currently hold a 3-2 lead in the season series between the divisional rivals. The Colts line-up is loaded with offensive talent up front including leading scorers ZACK HALL, STEVEN BEYERS, and ANTHONY CAMARA. CAMARA was a member of Team Canada that participated at the World Juniors in Ufa, Russia over the holidays.
Friday’s game will be sponsored by HOME DEPOT who will be on hand with lucky row giveaways! Lucky fans will also have the chance to win great prizes during the DRILL OFF COMPETITION! The Wolves will be back in action at home on Sunday afternoon when the Kitchener Rangers make their one and only visit to the Nickel City this season. On Sunday, the Wolves will also be welcoming the return of JOSH LEIVO, FRANK CORRADO and JOEL VIENNEAU. All three former Wolves will be making their final regular season appearance at the Sudbury Arena as they complete their OHL careers this season. The Rangers lineup also boasts a trio of first round NHL draft picks in MATT PUEMPEL (24th Overall, Ottawa), RADEK FAKSA (13th Overall, Dallas), and RYAN MURPHY (12th Overall, Carolina).
