
Todd officially joined the Storm coaching staff at the start of the 2013-14 season after participating in several on-ice sessions with the team in 2012-13. A Hamilton native, Todd was selected first overall in the 1991 OHL Priority Selection. He recorded 249 points in three seasons with the Detroit Jr. Red Wings and twice represent Canada at the IIHF World Junior Championships (1993, 1994). Both of his trips to the World Juniors resulted in a gold medal, and he was named Captian of the 1994 team.
Drafted 9th overall by the Dallas Stars in 1993, Todd played 12 seasons in the NHL, recording 223 points (91 goals, 123 assists) in 671 NHL games with the Stars, Rangers, Sharks, and Oilers. He was part of Edmonton’s Cinderella playoff run to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2006, his last season before retiring from the pro ranks.
