Storm acquire Marchese from Spitfires

GUELPH, ON — GM Mike Kelly announced Friday that the club has acquired overage forward Chris Marchese and a 10th round pick in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection from the Windsor Spitfires.

In exchange, the Storm will send a 3rd round pick (originally Windsor’s) in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection.

Marchese posted 14 points in 19 games with the Spitfires this season and is expected to join the Storm for tonight’s game vs. the Plymouth Whalers at the Sleeman Centre.

A native of Woodbridge, Marchese has played in 157 OHL games with the Spitfires and the Erie Otters, collecting 38 goals and 53 assists.

The 2014-15 season is presented by RBC Play Hockey.
