Spirit mulling line up changes heading into game 4

Desperate times, desperate measures.
After his team’s second straight lopsided loss Monday — giving Guelph the 2-1 series advantage — Saginaw Spirit coach and general manager Todd Watson said he is contemplating major lineup changes heading into tonight’s Game 4 in Guelph.
Foremost could be a change in net. Spirit goaltender Mavric Parks was pulled Monday after giving up five goals on 19 shots in 35 minutes in the 7-3 loss. In his last two starts, he has given up 11 goals.
Watson wouldn’t commit to Parks as his starting goaltender in Game 4.
“Not sure yet,” he said. “It’s a good question.”
Saginaw’s other option is backup Tadeas Galansky, who saw his first playoff action in relief Monday. He gave up two goals on 16 shots in 24 minutes of action.
In the regular season, Galansky had a 2.89 goals against average and .910 save percentage in 17 appearances.
“I want to play, and the team should play good,” Galansky said. “We have to win (today), for sure.”
The Spirit are only one win away from tying up the best-of-seven first-round playoff series.
