Served by the Storm a success

The 11th annual Served By The Storm Dinner hosted by Casey’s Bar & Grill on Monday night was a huge success. The unique event offers Guelph Storm fans the opportunity to meet the entire team in a fun, relaxed setting.

For the 7th consecutive season, the event was sold out with approximately 208 guests jamming Casey’s Bar & Grill to near capacity.

Over $5,000 was raised through tickets sales, the silent auction and the jersey raffle. For the last 11 seasons, the Served by Storm Dinner has raised approximately fifty thousand dollars thanks to the participation of Storm fans and the tremendous generosity of Casey’s.  All proceeds from the event are donated by Casey’s to the Guelph Storm Adopt A  School program providing tickets to local elementary schools to use as rewards and incentives for students and staff.
