Taylor Beck – Guelph Storm Performer and nominee for OHL Performer of the month
Taylor was named the Guelph Storm’s performer of the month after recording 28 points in 16 games throughout September and October. To begin the year, Taylor picked up six points (3 goals and 3 assists) in September and continued with an impressive 19 points (7 goals and 12 assists) in October. Beck was awarded with 2 first star honours, 3 second star honours and 2 third star honours throughout the two months.
The Niagara Falls native has been named the Guelph Storm’s AMJ Campbell player of the week for three consecutive weeks, leads the Storm in all offensive categories, is currently on a 10 game point streak and has scored 18 points in his last 8 games. He is producing at well over a point per game pace and currently sits 4th in the league is scoring.
Adam Comrie- Guelph Storm Defenceman and nominee for OHL Defenceman of the Month
Comrie was named the Guelph Storm’s Defenceman of the Month after recording 13 points throughout September and October. The Asburn, VA native tallied five goals and eight assists in 15 games. His first multi point game of the year came against the Belleville Bulls on October 16th when the 19 year old scored twice and added a helper for three points.
Comrie, currently sitting in fourth in team scoring, was awarded with one third star honour throughout September and October.
Cody St. Jacques-Guelph Storm Goaltender of the Month and nominee for OHL Goaltender of the Month
St. Jacques was named the Guelph Storm’s Goaltender of the Month after posting a 4-3-0 record, along with a 3.02 goals against average and 0.921 save percentage in seven games played.
Splitting the starting position with Matt Hoyle, Cody won four of his six starts during the month of October and was named the first star of the game in all four contests.
Francis Menard Guelph Storm Rookie of the Month and nominee for OHL Rookie of the Month
Menard was named the Guelph Storm’s Rookie of the Month after recording one goal and two assists for three points, the most by any first year Storm player.
As of November 2nd, the Embrun native currently sits first on the team in rookie scoring.
