Hy-Grade Player of the Week
The Guelph Storm announced today that overage forward Cody McNaughton is the Hy-Grade Steel Roofing Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 18th.
McNaughton recorded five points, three goals and two assists in three games over the weekend. Held off the score sheet on Wednesday night in Belleville, the Petawawa native was awarded first star honours after scoring his second OHL hat trick in Friday’s 7-2 victory over the Steelheads. Saturday in Erie, McNaughton recorded two assists, was named third star of the game and surpassed Kevin Dallman for the Storm’s All-Time games played record suiting up for 269 games.
McNaughton currently has eight points, five goals and three assists.
Next up, the Storm head to Mississauga on Wednesday for a rare ‘School Day’ game that starts at 11:00 am. Friday, back in the comfortable confines of the Sleeman Centre they host the Erie Otters for a 7:30 pm start. The next day, they are back at it again as the Ottawa 67’s are in town on Saturday at 7:00 pm.
