Hard work pays off

If you had been told earlier this season that the focal point of the Guelph Storm right now would be a line consisting of Francis Menard between Brock McGinn and Scott Kosmachuk, you would have laughed out loud.
But for the past two weeks it has been the focal point.
While certainly not the team’s most skilled, creative or dynamic line, it has for the time being become the team’s most dependable one.
Coaches are raving. Management is gushing. Fans are appreciating.
Usually, after a smile, the first thing out of coach Scott Walker’s mouth when the trio is brought up are the words “they play the game the way it is supposed to be played.”
