Guelph Storm Annual Awards Banquet
The Guelph Storm held the annual team awards banquet on March 25th, ahead of the 2024 OHL Playoffs.
Hosted by the voice of the Storm and CJOY’s own Larry Mellot, the team presented the annual awards during the event.
It was a busy evening for Jett Luchanko as he took home three awards including the Top Scorer Award, the Owen’s Corning Tony Camilleri Playmaker Award, and the Paul Fendley Memorial Scholastic Player of the Year Award. The native of London had an outstanding second season with the Storm recording 20 goals and 54 assists for 74 points through 68 regular season games.
Rowan Topp and Captain Braeden Bowman each took home two awards. Topp won the Ivan Tenant Memorial Award for academic achievements and was named the team’s Most Improved Player. Bowman is now a two-time Mike Kelly Humanitarian of the Year winner and earned the Leadership Award.
