Thank you, Eric.
Our time was cut short, but your impact lives on.
Originally a ninth-round pick in 2016 by the Flint Firebirds, Eric Uba joined the Guelph Storm in 2019. In 63 games, Eric posted 58 points (29G, 29A) for the Storm before his final eligible year was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Eric’s on-and-off ice achievements earned him third place in Western Conference most underrated player voting on the OHL Coaches Poll and was also the Storm’s nominee for the Roger Neilson Memorial Award given to the League’s top academic post-secondary student.
We send our best wishes to Eric as he pursues a Bachelor of Commerce degree at McGill University and plays for the RedBirds this upcoming 2021-22 season.
Thank you for everything, Eric.
