Storm select Anthony Aguanno 42nd overall
With the first of three picks in the third round of the 2017 OHL Priority Selection, the Guelph Storm were pleased to select defenseman Anthony Aguanno 42nd overall.
The five-foot-10, 176-pound defenseman recorded 11 goals and 29 assists for 40 points in 48 games played for the Mississauga Rebels Minor Midget AAA team.
The Mississauga, Ontario native has made two appearances in the OHL Cup in both 2016 and 2017, recording a total of three goals and eight assists for 11 points in 10 games played. In 2017, Aguanno was named to the OHL Cup All-Star team, recognized as a top-two defenseman in the tournament.
