Game Preview: Guelph Storm vs Erie Otters
The Storm are back at home as the Erie Otters come for a Monday night game. The puck drops at 7:00.
Guelph are coming into tonight’s game after a 2 game road trip this weekend where they went 1-1 with a big win over Sarnia and a hard-fought loss to Flint. In the season series so far this season against the Otters the Storm are 3-0, winning games 7-3, 3-2, and 4-3. With an overall record of 26-19-5-2 the Storm remain in the 5th overall spot in the western conference. This is the first game of a busy week for the Storm so they will be aiming to start the week off with a big win.
The Otters have been picking up the pace recently with a record of 3-2 in their last 5 games played. During this 5-game stretch they have beaten top teams in Flint and Windsor. Their overall record sits at 23-25-2-2 and has them in 7th in the conference standings. In a tightly contested bottom half of the standings the Otters will be wanting these two points tonight badly. Being 0-3 in the season series will have this Otters team giving that extra push to try and get their first win against the Storm this season.
