From the Stands: superb start to sophomore season for Storm player
By Paul Osborne, Guelph Mercury
Isaac Ratcliffe is off to a tremendous start in his sophomore season. He currently leads the team in scoring as a 17-year-old with seven goals and 10 assists in 19 games. To give you a little context, last year in 43 games the winger had just 13 points, so he has taken the sort of jump franchises hope for from their top picks.
Ratcliffe was the Storm’s first round pick (15th overall) in 2015 and struggled through various injuries in his rookie season, but this year he has emerged improved in almost every facet of his game.
