Forward Andrew Baker signs with Storm
Guelph, ON – Guelph Storm General Manager George Burnett announced today that 2025 ninth-round pick Andrew Baker has signed an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the hockey club.
The 6’0, 175 lbs forward has had a tremendous start to his 2026-27 campaign with the GOHL’s Chatham Maroons. Baker recorded two goals and six assists for eight points in his first two games while also being named GOHL Prospect of the Week in the first week of the season. In his first season of junior hockey in 2025-26, the right winger notched 13 goals and 21 assists for 34 points in 42 games for the PJCHL’s Essex 73’s and added another seven points in 12 playoff games. The forward from Woodslee, Ontario was originally selected 165th overall in last year’s OHL Priority Selection.
