This year’s recipient of the Most Valuable Player award is Sasha Pastujov. Congratulations Sasha!
Leading all Storm players with 76 points, including 34 goals and 42 assists, Sasha Pastujov is the Storm’s 2021-22 Most Valuable Player.
The Anaheim Ducks prospect, with his highly competitive nature, consistently proved throughout the 2021-22 season that he was dedicated to becoming a better player each day. In just his second game played in a Storm uniform, Sasha scored three times recording his first OHL hat-trick against the Kitchener Rangers. The Florida native recorded at least one point in 16 of his first 18 games played and was named OHL player of the month for the month of October leading the league in goals and points scored through 10 games to start the season. Leading the team in power play goals scored with 10, Sasha also recorded three game winning goals.
Off the ice, Sasha has a very welcoming personality and his love of the game positively affects everyone around him.
