Tracking the Storm – Phil Baltisberger

The Schileren, Switzerland native, Phil Baltisberger was drafted by the Storm in the 1st round, 26th overall in the 2003 CHL Import Draft. Phil spent 2-seasons with the Storm where he appeared in 112 games, notching 5-goals and 28-assists. Phil was part of the 2013-2014 OHL Championship team. In the following season, Phil was named to the 2014/2015 Guelph Storm leadership group as an assistant captain. Phil represented Switzerland in the 2012/2013 and 2014/2015 World Junior Championships.

Following his time in Guelph, Phil spent several years playing overseas. He has spent much of his time playing with the Zürcher Schlittschuh Club Lions who are located in Zürich. He has appeared in 27-games this season.
