Storm select Luke Moncada in the third round

With the first pick in the third round of the 2016 OHL Priority Selection, the Guelph Storm welcome Scarborough, Ontario native Luke Moncada to the team.

The six-foot-one, 196-pound centre spent his minor midget season with the Toronto Red Wings Minor Midget AAA team, registering 24 goals and 16 assists for 40 points in 61 games played.

Also participating in the 2016 OHL Cup, Moncada maintained a point-per-game production rate, tallying five points (two goals, three assists) in five games with six penalty minutes.
