14th Round Selection From High School in Fort Frances

The Storm selected one of only two high school players chosen in the 2007 OHL Priority Selection in the 14th round when they called the name of Patrick Bobcynski of the Fort Frances Muskies.

Of the 300 players selected at the 2007 OHL Priority Selection: 93 – OMHA, 54 – GTHL, 52 – USA, 47 – Alliance, 26 – Ottawa District, 12 – NOHA, 9 – Junior, 5 – Hockey North and 2 were High School players, the 6-1, 170 lb left winger was one of the two players after spending the season with the Muskies.
