Storm Draft Goaltender With 15th Round Selection
With their 15th round selection, the Guelph Storm chose goaltender James Prigione of the Halton Hurricanes. The young netminder was the 14th player selected by Storm GM / Head Coach Dave Barr in the 2007 OHL Priority Selection. The final count for the day was nine forwards, three defencemen and a pair of goaltenders.
The Storm have invited Prigione and the rest of Saturday’s selections to the club’s annual Prospect Day next Saturday, May 12th including a pair of workout sessions, fitness testing and a scrimmage to finish the day. Many of the Storm’s choices from today will attend along with a number of Guelph’s 1990 born selections from last spring.
