Michael Little (4) scored the game winner with 1:29 left in the third period as the Mississauga Steelheads snuck out a 4-3 home ice win over the Hamilton Bulldogs. The Dogs outshot the Trout 15-8 in the third period, but Mississauga would prevail as Cole Carter and Ryan McLeod set-up Little for the winner, helping the Steelheads earn their fifth straight win. Nicholas Canade (1) earned first star honours with a goal and an assist while Thomas Harley (2) and Keean Washkurak (3) also found the back of the net. Los Angeles Kings prospect Jacob Ingham earned the win in goal with a 32-save effort. MacKenzie Entwistle (3), Jake Gravelle (1) and Liam Van Loon (2) all scored for the Bulldogs as the game ended with the shots even at 35 apiece. The loss sees the Bulldogs fall to 4-3-1-0.
