Muscle MLK Player Profile: Thomas Harley
In this week’s Muscle MLK Player Profile we spoke to Thomas Harley, defenseman for the Mississauga Steelheads about food choices, workouts and favourite parts of practice.
What foods do you eat on game day?
Usually, my billet mom makes me chicken parmesan, it has a lot of protein, carbs, and vitamins
What is your favourite pre-game stretch?
Usually, I do a groin stretch, it tightens up throughout the day, so I like to loosen it up.
What exercises do you do to maintain healthy through a long season?
I do a lot of hip mobility exercises; a lot of injuries happen when you are tight, so it is good to have them loose.
What is your favourite drill?
In practice we do 3-on-3 drills, I like those because it is fun and good to let loose a bit.
What is your favourite part of practice?
I like the shoot around part after practice, play rebound with the guys and mess around a bit.
