Chris Beckford-Tseu
Goaltending Coach

Chris Beckford – Tseu ‘Becks’ – Grew up playing his minor hockey in the GTHL. A graduate of the Ontario Hockey League, Becks was drafted from the Oshawa Generals to the St. Louis Blues in the 5th round of the 2003 entry draft. After signing with the Blues, he spent time with their minor league affiliates Alaska Aces and Peoria Rivermen in the ECHL and AHL respectively, before making his NHL debut for the Blues in 2007. He finished his career in 2012 after spending his remaining years in the Florida Panthers system. Inducted into the Alaska Aces Hall of Fame in 2017, Chris has been training goaltenders of all levels from around the world since finishing his playing career. He works with many minor hockey teams in the Greater Toronto Area, and was the Head Goaltending Coach for Ryerson University Men’s Hockey Team prior to joining the Steelheads.

Chris resides in Etobicoke with his girlfriend Ashley and their two dogs.
