Our first Future Fish, Jeremey Goodwin, is a recent free-agent signing who committed to the Steelheads on May 9, 2016.
Goodwin, a four-time OMHA champion, finished his 2015-16 season with the Major Midget AAA Waterloo Wolves where he recorded 36 points (14 goals, 22 assists) in 31 regular season games. Jan Egert, Steelheads assistant general manager, explains “We like Jeremey’s overall package as a player. He has the size, tenacity and competitiveness to be an effective player without the puck; but also possesses the skill and skating ability to make plays and have an impact when in puck possession.”
