Steelheads Trade 7th Round 2027 Pick for Jaxon Williams

The Brampton Steelheads announced they have traded their 7th Round pick in the 2027 OHL Priority Draft to the Ottawa 67s for Jaxon Williams.

BRAMPTON, ON – On January 5th, the Brampton Steelheads announced a trade with the Ottawa 67s, in exchange for Jaxon Williams.

Heading to the Steelheads is 5’10”, 170lbs, right winger, Jaxon Williams. The 17 year old Cary, North Carolina native was selected 202nd overall by the 67s in the 2024 OHL Priority Draft. This season he has appeared in 27 games putting up 2 goals and 3 assists.

The Steelheads are excited to welcome Jaxon to Brampton as the club continues to build toward the 2025–26 season and beyond.
