Zac Bierk (1993-1997)
A centerpiece for the maroon and white in the mid 90’s, Zac backstopped the team to the Memorial Cup final in 1996 at the PMC. The following season he was awarded the OHL Goaltender Of The Year Award, the Leo Lalonde Trophy (best over-aged player in the league) and was named to the OHL`s first all star team and the CHL’s second all star team. Drafted in 1995 by the Tampa Bay Lightning, he appeared in 47 career NHL games with Tampa Bay, Phoenix and Minnesota. He is now a goal tending consultant for the Oshawa Generals.
