Petes Take Flyer in Third Round

The Peterborough Petes selected Left Winger Daniel Ciampini of the Don Mills Flyers with their second pick (Third Round) in the 2006 OHL Priority Selection.

The 5’11" 160 lbs native of Concord, Onatrio led the Flyers to the GTHL Championship with 40 goals and 90 points in 75 games. Daniel had 130 penalty minutes and was a +43 plus/minus rating.

Daniel is descibed as skilled forward who can play both wings. The smooth skater is a big game player who can score goal when need.

Ciampini plays soccer in the off-season and was twice named the student athlete of the year at St. Elizabeth Catholic High-School.
