Petes Prospect Wins Tournament Scoring Title

Peterborough Petes prospect Kyle Wilhelm recently won the scoring title at the 2008 Kelowna International Major Midget Tournament in Kelowna British Columbia. Wilhelm, a member of the Waterloo Wolves Major Midgets recorded 9 goals, 2 assists for 11 points in 5 games at the tournament and as a result was named to the Tournament All-Star Team.

The 5’11" 200lbs native of Tavistock, Ontario was the Petes 6th Round, 104th overall selection in the 2007 OHL Priority Selection. During his draft year, Wilhelm was a teammate of current Petes defenceman Chad Lowry on The Wateroo Wolves Minor Midget AAA’s.
