Petes Draft Local is Third Round
The Peterborough Petes didn’t look far when making their first selection in the third round this morning when they selected Peterborough Petes Minor Midget defensman Derek Holden 44th overall.
"It is every kids dream to play in your hometown. It feels great." Says Holden.
Holden describes himself as "a puck handling defenseman who likes to jump into the play", and compares himself to NHLer Dan Boyle.
