Petes Beat Wolves 7-3
The Peterborough petes beat the Sudbury Wolves 7-3 in front of 3890 Memorial Centre faithful.
Patrick Kaleta and Jamie Tardif spotted the Petes a 2 -0 first period lead.
Nick Foligno got he Wolves on the board 1:37 into the second, and Marc Staal tied it less than a minute later before Steve Downie gave the Petes a 3-2 lead. Tardif notched his second of the game and 30th of the season less than 2 minutes later to give the Petes a 4-2 second period lead.
Daniel Ryder increased the Petes lead scoring his 30th of the season, and Justin Caruana put the game out of reach at 5:46 of the final frame. Benoit Pouliot scored the Wolves third goal at 6:59. Zach Harnden rounded out the scoring at 13:38 to make the final 7-3.
