Mike Duco – Skill Development Coach
Mike works with the Petes in a part-time capacity while jointly working in a Skill Development role with the Okanaghan Hockey Group and as an American Hockey League referee. He was an Assistant Coach with the Petes for the 2017-18 season. Prior to joining Peterborough, he was the Head Coach of the ECHL’s Elmira Jackals after being promoted from Assistant Coach. He played eight seasons of professional hockey between the NHL (Vancouver, Florida), AHL (Toronto, Chicago, Rochester), ECHL (Evansville, Indy, Orlando), EIHL (EC Salzburg) and EBEL (Sheffield Steelers). In the Mike, was a forward with the Kitchener Rangers for five seasons and was a member of the 2007-08 OHL Championship team. He recorded 99 goals, 92 assists, 191 points, and 489 penalty minutes in 242 games. Mike lives in Toronto with his fiancée Alexandra and their son Liam.
